Racine County Line Rifle Club Civilian Marksmanship Program Excellence in Competition Service Rifle Match

This is a CMP Service Rifle Match 50 shot National Match Course of Fire. 200, 300 and 600-yard firing. No sighting shots and no coaching allowed. Service rifles only. Electronic Targets will be used. CMP Electronic Target Rules Apply.
Course of fire:
Stage 1: 200-yard slow fire oĭand, 10 shots in 10 minutes.
Stage 2: 200-yards sitting or kneeling from standing, 1 string of (mandatory reload) 10 shots in 60 seconds.
Stage 3: 300-yards prone from standing, 1 string of (mandatory reload) 10 shots in 70 seconds. Stage 4: 600-yards slow fire prone, 20 shots for record in 20 minutes.
Stages 1 and 2 will be fired in succession. Competitors must stand for the rapid-fire stages to be eligible for EIC points or receive awards from the CMP. Targets: decimal SR, SR-3, and MR Electronic Targets will be used.

The cutoff date for email entries is May 14 nd, 2025. Entries will be accepted in person until 8:30 am May 18th, 2025, or until the range limit of 60 competitors is reached. Firing to start approximately around 9:00 am.
Entry fee: $25 for all competitors, payable in cash or check to RCLRC. Entry is limited to 60 competitors, with priority given to non-Distinguished competitors.
Eligibility: as established by CMP rules, all competitors must verify on their scorecard their eligibility to participate. Reference: www.odcmp.com for all CMP information. Competitors must have a CMP Competitor Number on file or submit with entry an Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Agreement. Rules: current CMP rules will be followed. Equipment: Current U.S. Service Rifles (or civilian equivalent) required. The M-16 (or AR 15). Competitors may share equipment. The use of spotting scopes, shooting coats, shooting stools, slings, ground mats, etc. is allowed. Trigger pull will be weighed before and randomly during the match. A minimum of a 4.5-pound trigger pull.
Awards: appropriate medals and points towards the Distinguished Rifleman Award, as awarded by the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Competitors will shoot, score, and have pit and other duties as assigned. Changeover and prep time will be given. Artificial support of any kind is prohibited. This match may not be fired for practice or fun. All scorecards must be turned in for return to CMP. A fee of $3 will be charged for all lost challenges. It is not necessary to fire in the NRA events to compete in this match. Competitors must furnish their own food, water, safe ammo, and a safe service rifle for this event. Portable toilet facilities are available on the range.
Location:
Racine County Line Rifle Club, Racine, WI Exit I-94 at 7 Mile Road, proceed east ~5 miles on 7 Mile Road to WI hwy 32. Turn right, south, on WI HWY 32 and proceed to 6 Mile road. Turn left on 6 Mile Road and proceed ~ 1⁄4 mile to Michna Road. Turn left on Michna road and go north 1 mile to 7 Mile road. Turn left and proceed west on 7 Mile road ~ 1⁄4 mile to the gravel access road, east of the RR tracks. Turn right and follow the access road north ~ 1⁄2 mile to the RCLRC entrance.
Watch for the signage, observe the speed limit, and be aware of the bicyclists, free-ranging fowl, and livestock on Michna Road.
Do not enter the Sheriff’s range on the north end of Michna Road.
Watch for power plant construction activities and equipment.
