Vintage sniper sign in to follow GSM match (11 am-11:45 am) The spirit and intent of the Vintage Sniper Match is to provide modern target rifle competitions for competitors who use original or replica military sniper rifles.  This match is a two-person team event designed to replicate and test marksmanship skills similar to those employed by traditional military sniper teams.  Any rifle configuration or item of equipment that is not mentioned in these rules or that is contrary to the spirit and intent of these rules is prohibited. Targets: Shots at 300 yards will be fired on SR-3 targets; Shots at 600 yards will be fired on MR-1 targets. Official CMP scorecards will be used to report scores. We use ShotMarker electronic targets to assist with scoring. Entrants not shooting are required to perform scoring duties, which requires a Wi-Fi capable device (smart phone, tablet, laptop.) Course of Fire: The course of fire consists of five minutes of unlimited sighting shots, then 10 shots for record for each team member at 300 yards. Subsequently, five minutes for unlimited sighting shots and 10 shots for record for each team member at 600 yards.  Each team fires a total of 40 shots for record. We sometimes have Shooters looking for a partner to shoot with. We have a limited number of loner rifles if it is not raining. We welcome shooters to shoot modern rifles if they wish too out of competition. For more information contact John Lathrop 414-305-4455
